24/7 On-Call Hospice Support — Always Here When You Need Us

At Maximum Care Hospice, we understand that a patient’s condition can change at any hour—day or night. That’s why our 24/7 on-call hospice nurse team is always available to provide immediate support, guidance, and in-person care when needed. Whether you’re facing a sudden symptom change, have questions about medications, or simply need reassurance, we’re just a phone call away.

Compassionate Hospice Care, Around the Clock
Our on-call system ensures that families never feel alone. After hours, weekends, and holidays, a licensed hospice nurse is available 24/7 at 818-232-8123 to:
  • Answer urgent questions about medications, symptoms, or comfort measures
  • Provide emotional support and guidance when you’re unsure what to do
  • Dispatch a nurse to the bedside if the situation cannot be managed over the phone
  • Coordinate with your care team to ensure continuity and peace of mind

Responsive Care When It Matters Most

If a patient experiences a change in condition, we act quickly. Following an emergency call and nurse evaluation, we may:
  • Increase visit frequency—up to daily nursing visits if clinically appropriate
  • Coordinate 24/7 bedside care when a patient is actively transitioning or approaching the end of life
  • Adjust medications, supplies, and support services to meet evolving needs
Our goal is to ensure that every patient remains comfortable, supported, and never alone, especially during the most vulnerable moments.

When Should You Call the On-Call Nurse?

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if:
  • You notice new or worsening symptoms (e.g., difficulty breathing, restlessness, trouble swallowing)
  • You have questions about recent medication changes or side effects
  • You feel anxious, uncertain, or overwhelmed and need guidance
  • You’re unsure whether something is urgent—we’ll help you decide

We’re Always Here for You

At Maximum Care Hospice, your peace of mind is our priority. Our 24/7 on-call team is an extension of your care family—ready to respond with compassion, clinical expertise, and unwavering support.
Call us anytime at 818-232-8123. We will always be there when you call.
